Only an insane person would believe that corporations are able to police themselves and have even one fiber or ethical and/or moral material in their make up.

Democrats and Republicans alike would flog me for this, but I think medicare and medicaid need some revamping and, if possible, some cuts. Defense spending needs cut, obviously - they should be threatened with needing to raise their own funds if they don't become more efficient.
More money into prevention plans, less money should be paid for preventable diseases - obesity-related, diet related, etc.
